Charleston Woodworks is now an FSC chain-of-custody certified shop. We have always considered ourselves to be stewards of the environment and now we have joined forces with the Forest Stewardship Council in their efforts to guarantee it.

As a chain-of-custody certified shop, we are now able to provide you an end product that is guaranteed to have been tracked from the forest to your jobsite, home, or office. With that tracking, you are guaranteed that proper foresting practices have been used and your world's forests are being protected from over processing methods like clear-cutting. 

FSC certified wood products can also help you with your LEED certified projects. According to the U. S. Green Building Council, FSC certified wood products can be applied towards achieving Materials and Resources Credits 5 and 7.
